While also suitable for use as paper- or presentation-based DFC, "Sergeant Arendt" is particularly well suited for use with a sand-table or terrain model.  It follows a squad leader as he deals with the disappearance of his platoon commander, the failure of the "wonder weapon" with which he was supplied, and a battlefield that differed somewhat from the one described to him a few days earlier.
